I am a 39 year old active Australian bloke who has been frustrated by hip, groin, pelvis and lower back pain and restriction for as long as I can remember.

I have been treated by physiotherapists, chiropractors, sports therapists and masseurs and have got nowhere.

Then my GP sent me off to Olympic Park Sports Medicine in Melbourne where, after scans and assessment, I was told I have a Femoroacetabular Impingement or FAI in both hips.

Here are my hip trials and tribulations.....
